Bungalow 99: A Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Delhi

Bungalow 99 is a new boutique hotel in Delhi, and a new entry at the top of our list when we get asked for recommendations of where to stay! For our wedding last month Sarah’s family booked an apartment and it was the perfect place for us to hang out and spend time together. Scroll down for a tour of the interior and why we love this new hotel.

South Delhi Location

Just 5 minutes walk from Defence Colony market the location is super convenient for living like a local, but within easy reach of tourist sights too.

Interior Design

The Interior was Designed by Pio Coffrant of The Rose Studio, who has created an airy, characterful and comfortable space. It's gorgeous and really feels like a sanctuary and place to escape the bustle of Delhi. We are so pleased that Pio chose to use our Langur design in the furnishings. The playful print works brilliantly with the other pops of colour and complements the property’s tree views.

The Entrance

The first thing you see as you walk in – a mural of our Langur design painted by a local artist. As one of the recurrent motifs throughout the interiors it makes for a charming entrance.

The Living Room

The property is spread over four floors, and laid out as ‘apartments’, with three rooms on each floor that share a common living space. Full length windows make it bright and light – something you don’t often find in Delhi. There’s a spacious terrace balcony too, a lovely spot for an evening drink.

The bench in the table area is upholstered in our Langur print fabric.

The Rooms

The three rooms are named by their subtle colour palettes. The Green room has a tropical theme with headboards upholstered in our Langur print fabric.

The Blue and Red rooms feature Langur print cushions. All rooms are a decent size but the Blue room is the master and most spacious with a huge bathroom and tub – such a luxury!

By the end of the week it felt like our home away from home and we were so sad to leave!
