Print Design for Bodice Studio

Introducing our latest project, Safomasi x BODICE, a print collaboration between Safomasi and Bodice, a New Delhi based womenswear label founded by Ruchika Sachdeva. In 2014 she won the Vogue India Fashion Fund and in 2018 the Woolmark International Prize we’ve always loved her impeccably tailored contemporary pieces. 

Textile Print Design Concept

For our print collaboration we took inspiration from the geology and geography of Delhi, Kullu, Kolkata and Auroville, four places in India where BODICE source their fabrics. We played with colour combinations and scale to to create a pattern that may look abstract, but is rooted in a concept.

We’re super happy with the result  – a limited edition line of tops and dresses in classic BODICE shapes.
