Go wild with Safari Room Decor
Safari themed room decor isn't all about beige and khaki. Our Tiger Safari collection, inspired by adventures on safari in the jungles and national parks of central India, brings a bright and bold new look to safari style interiors. Here are some ideas for how to bring our unique safari inspired prints into your home decor.
Animal Print Bedding
Go wild in the bedroom with clashing animal prints. Our Big Cat Camo print cleverly mixes tiger stripes, leopard spots and camouflage in vibrant shades of orange and green. Designed as a homage to the ‘Big Cats’ that are camouflaged in the jungle, Big Cat Camo quilts are available in three sizes. There are matching pillow cases, too.
Each quilt or pillow has the ‘Fierce Orange’ colourway on one side and ‘Foliage Green’ colourway on the other. We like to make our bedding and cushions reversible so you can use them from either side to complement the colours in your room, or create different look whenever you feel like it.
Make a Statement with the Big Cat Camo Rug
We love this cosy corner featuring our Big Cat Camo cushion cover and Foliage Green Hand tufted rug. An instant fix to transform a room! A gorgeous combination of different shades of green from lime to greenery, mint and teal green, the tones in the Big Cat Camo rug go really well with wooden floors or furniture. It looks great with this classic Chandigarh lounge chair by Pierre Jeanneret.
The vibrant Orange Big Cat Camo Rug
The Orange colourway of our Big Cat Camo rug celebrates warm and bright reds, oranges and pinks. We tufted different thicknesses of yarn to create added texture, as well as hand carving the outlines of the camouflage motifs. The edges of the rug are curved too, and follow the shape of the design. A fab pairing with this sleek wine red sofa.
Playful Monkey Print Bedding
The Langur print was the first we designed in the Tiger Safari collection, and it’s still a favourite. Inspired by the ubiquitous gangs of cheeky monkeys that live in the trees, we pair it with ‘Shaken Leaves‘, a pattern inspired by the leaves that fall when Langurs jump from branch to branch. Our Langur handtufted rug is in this image too. Another fabulous statement piece, it looks great on the floor but could also be hung as artwork on the wall! Check it out hanging in our studio here.
Tiger Safari Print Bedding
The Safari Tracks quilt is inspired by adventures tiger spotting! Spot the tiger, hidden amongst the foliage as tourists in jeeps and on elephants circle the park chasing tracks and trails. Colourful and illustrative, it makes such fun bedding for adults and children alike.
Quilts with two looks in one
All our quilts and cushions are reversible, so one product brings you two looks! The prints on the other side are always a bit simpler, with just one or two colours for a fun but subtle look if that’s more your style.
Deer Print Cushion and Bedding
Aside from langurs, you’re also guaranteed to spot deer on safari in India. We created the Spotted Deer print to bring back memories of the rolling landscape of meadows, forests and watering holes. And the scene of groups of deer gathering. ‘Spotted Deer’ pairs with ‘Arid Earth‘, an abstract crackle pattern inspired the way the mud cracks in the summer heat. We used it for curtains in this image, the pattern is small and neutral but still adds interest – perfect for drapery.
All our Tiger Safari prints are available as cotton linen fabric by the metre, so go wild and upholster a chair, a bed head, or sew up some curtains! Ps. the cushion is on the tan ‘Hug’ armchair by Iqrup and Ritz – the grey and brown tones in the print complement leather so well!
Love this bedroom look featuring our handprinted, hand quilted Spotted Deer Quilt with matching pillowcase and cushion. The monochrome, graphic pattern of our Black and White crane dhurrie looks great with it too.
Safari Decor for your Table
Our full range of safari inspired prints are also available as table linens. Colourful placemats, table runners and table cloths are such an easy way to dress up a table. You could also just add napkins for a fun pop of pattern and colour.

We hope you’ve got some ideas for how to mix prints and patterns and bring a fun touch of safari room decor into your home.
